The National Center on Access and Education (NCDAE) is hosting an upcoming webcast titled "Accessibility and the Open Source Content Management Movement." The webcast will be held on August 30, 2006 at 1:00 PM MDT. More information is available at http://ncdae.org/webcasts. 

We are pleased to announce that Alexander Limi, one of the founders of Plone, will be the featured panelist for this webcast. Plone is a very accessible CMS and Alexander Limi is a well-known expert in the field.
Other panelist will be announced soon.

The panel will discuss the strengths and limitations of accessibility in the open source movement and look to the future of these tools with accessibility in mind. Those interested in selecting content management systems or those involved in development within the open source movement will find this webcast interesting. The format allows questions to the panel.

The audio broadcast will last approximately one hour. It is free of charge and will be captioned simultaneously for the deaf and hard of hearing.
