Acanac setup a ssh proxy to bypass the throttling, works great. They even setup a putty client, you just download it and log in, all pre-configured.

Perfect timing!  I just got multi-link ppp running on my dsl line; pretty 
easy to do once I sat down to it.  I'm running a freebsd/pf gateway so I 
couldn't suggest how to do it in linux, but the result has been that my 
dsl line feels more like it did in '00 (without caps).  Hooray for 
progress!  I'm using teksavvy.  There's some dslreports page where they 
mention providers who support mlppp, but my google-fu is wanting at the 
moment.

As far as volume caps, that would be entirely up to the provider you 
purchase from.  Teksavvy is priced at about the same for dry loop, and 
that'll get you 200G.  If you're consistently over that volume and 
you're using your link for voip, you should purchase an extra 100G for 
$10.  Otherwise there's an unlimited option, but the latency is suppposed 
to be worse.
