maybe less work... with Zimbra all the s/w is pre-integrated... not in the
repos, but it is open source, and there are debian & ubuntu packages...

I have a buddy who built a vm to run zimbra, and that's it (moves the vm
around, when the hardware needs to change.) been a couple of years now.
